TAPPI's PIMA Management Division is collaborating with Paper360 to put together a panel representing the global presence of the industry.

Below are the current panelists:


Kathy Buckman Gibson

Kathy has served the pulp and paper industry for over 25 years while working at Buckman in various capacities including Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel and Chairman of the Board.

In 2018, Kathy established KBG Technologies, LLC as a joint venture between herself and Buckman, and serves as its CEO and President. KBG Technologies is a certified woman-owned business providing chemistries and smart technologies to the pulp and paper industry and the water treatment market.

Kathy is a TAPPI Fellow and received the Herman L. Joachim Distinguished Service Award in 2007. She has served as a Trustee of the TAPPI Foundation and is a Past Board Member of TAPPI, PIMA, and the Center for Paper Business Industry Studies (CPBIS). She also served on the Board of the Pulp and Paper Foundation of North Carolina State University.


 

Andreas Tuerk

Andreas Tuerk was born in Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, in 1964. He graduated 1993 from the University of Tuebingen, Germany, with a business degree. Andreas Tuerk joined BASF in 2009 as part of the CIBA acquisition. From 2016 to 2019 he was the leading the Global Business Unit (GBU) Paper and Water Chemicals, part of BASF’s Performance Chemicals division.


John Williams

John D. Williams, BA, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Domtar Corporation since joining on January 1, 2009. Mr. Williams served as the President of the European Packaging Operations at Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget, SCA from May 2, 2005, to December 1, 2008. From 2000 to 2008, he served in senior executive positions with SCA Packaging Ltd. and SCA Packaging Europe, among Europe's largest producers of containerboard paper used for the manufacturing of corrugated box products. He is a Graduate of King's College, London University.
